Garden Landscaping

Basic landscaping does not have to be complicated, and you don't always have to pay thousands for a professional landscaper. Even simple ideas will transform your property and make it more welcoming and enjoyable for the homeowner and guests.

First, look at the space around your property and visualize where things should be placed. Small shrubs and flowers are great for lining areas up against the exterior of the home. Larger bushes and trees can be placed in defined areas in the lawn. Use scallop blocks to create edging.

White rocks, or colored mulch also makes it easy to define different areas and make certain elements stand out. Define your property by using simple, low fencing along sidewalk edges. Your porch space should also be incorporated into the garden design. Add a simple clay pot with flowers or plants. A chair or a bench will create a relaxing area to sit.
