Horoscope Changes
In 2011, the Zodiac, and thus horoscopes, changed. This is brought on by the revelation of a thirteenth Zodiac sign, called Ophiuchus. This astrology sign depicts a snake and a man fighting. Since there is now an additional sign of the Zodiac, horoscopes are no longer valid. On the other hand, it should be said that they were not valid to begin with and this new sign will make horoscopes clearer. Ophiuchus is now squeezed in-between Scorpio and Sagittarius.
The constellation of Ophiuchus is not a new one, and was omitted in the standard Zodiac at its conception. There is major controversy regarding this addition and those who follow the western Zodiac do not need to worry too much about the change. While this addition changes the layout of every other sign and nearly removing the sign Scorpio, astronomers cannot agree on using it now or leave well enough along.
