TRAINING AND EDUCATIONAL OPPORTUNITIES



NMEHA is proud to offer for the first time, a review study class for the Certified Professional in Food Safety (CP-FS) credentialing exam for all those health professionals planning to take the exam. The topics covered during this eight hour review class will include Microbiology of Foodborne Illness, Causes and Prevention of Foodborne Illness, Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) Principles, Investigating a Foodborne Illness Outbreak, Public Health Law: The Legal Foundation for Inspections, The Food Establishment Inspection Process, Plan Review Process, and Principals of Food Safety Training for Food Handlers.
This Class will be held Saturday, October 18, 2008 from 8:00am to 5:00 pm at the NMEHC Conference.
